Superman: Look Up

Look up! Superman has always been my favorite comic character. He’s inspiring, heroic, and always full of hope. I made this piece to celebrate James Gunn’s 2025 film Superman. I tested myself in a lot of different areas in this piece, from the intricate mechanical details of the Superman Robots to capturing the cuteness of Krypto the super dog!

I illustrated each character separately traditionally with my mechanical pencil and ink pens. Once they were all inked, I scanned them into Adobe Photoshop to color and arrange them into this composition. The Fortress of Solitude was also created in Adobe Photoshop.
